Rainforest:

The amazon rainforests give about 20 percent of the world’s oxygen and have 33 percent of the species in the world.

Desert:

The driest desert on Earth receives on average 1 centimeter of rainfall every 5 to 20 years.

Grassland:

The grasses in the tropical grassland biome tend to be taller than that of the temperate because of the constant warm weather and additional rainfall it receives.

Mountains:

Mountains are formed by movement of the Earth’s crust.

Marine biome:

There is about one cup of salt for every gallon of water in the ocean.
